U12's progress to quarter finals

Wexford Celtic u12 progress to quarter finals of the cup after a hard fought victory over a well drilled Barntown team Current division one champs v current cup holders always meant for a tight game and so it turned out .

Celtic opened the scoring with a superbly taken header from Darby and from there on the boys fought tooth and nail to hold onto the lead.In a game of few clear cut chances Tirnan and Dara marshalled the defence with Eoin Harry and Cal working really hard in the midfield.The final score was 1nil with the whole squad contributing plus with had the added bonus of Jack D returning to the panel ( congrats on his major wins With CBS boxing)

Very hard to pick out individuals however motm today for his energy and his goal was star man Darby A great win for the club as the boys continue to battle on 2 fronts doing Wexford Celtic proud.
